The short version

What we don't do.

  • No accounts. You don't sign up, log in, or give us an email.
  • No ad trackers. No Facebook pixel, no Google Ads tag, no analytics-vendor fingerprinting.
  • No data sale. We don't sell or rent anything you give us.

The honest part

What we do do.

  • Your chat goes to an LLM provider. The provider sees the text of your conversation in order to generate replies.
  • We log conversations to an observability platform — so we can debug the agent and improve recommendations. Logs include the chat text, extracted spend numbers, and the recommendation output.
  • Affiliate cookies on link-out. When you click "Apply" on a recommendation, you leave Credit Cat. For cards on our affiliate program, our partner Creatory (by MoneyHero Group) sets a session cookie to attribute the application back to us — full disclosure in the "Affiliate disclosure" section below.
  • Essential cookies only on Credit Cat itself. No persistent identifiers we put on you.

The specific worry

Your spend numbers, specifically.

The spend amounts you type — dining $X, groceries $Y — are processed in your browser to compute recommendations. They're sent to the AI model (to extract them from natural language) and logged to our observability platform alongside the rest of the chat. They are not associated with you personally— we don't have your name or email — but the conversation text is preserved as part of the log.

The partnership

Affiliate disclosure.

Credit Cat participates in the Creatory affiliate program operated by Creatory (by MoneyHero Group) — eKos Pte. Ltd., Singapore. For most of the cards in our coverage, the "Apply" button on a recommendation routes you to the bank's application page via a tracked Creatory link. If your application is successful, we earn a referral commission.

  • Commissions do not influence our recommendations. The ranking comes from your spend numbers and the card data we publish — same data, same math, regardless of payout.
  • It costs you nothing extra to apply via our link.
  • Cards that are not on the affiliate program have an "Apply" button that links directly to the bank's official page — no commission, no tracking on our side.
  • Tracked links set a session cookie used by Creatory and SingSaver to attribute your application back to us. The bank (Product Provider) is informed of your application solely for that attribution.
  • You can always bypass our link by going to the bank's site directly.
